    Forgot to mention the three hours spent cutting and shaping the white perloid scratch plate and pup surrounds... the most time I am ever likely to spend on a scratch plate....
    Mate, you shoulda told me, we could have put the body on my binding router jig, i reckon you could have traveled here done the binding and even had time to spare for a coffee before travelling home and it would still have taken less time than the hour and a half!

    I really must invest in one of those binding jigs...
    Mate, it takes an hour to travel from the deep south to the far north, not to mention the passport checks

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    Not sure at this moment in time... got a Pit Bull staffie on Saturday and Miss Fiona is working on Sunday... will let you know how things are shaping up later this week.

    Yep, it was one of those WTF moments when I down loaded them from my camera....

    Yer I saw this Sunday and the body looks much bluer in the flesh. Awesome job you have done there DB with the binding and scratchplate, and believe it or not this axe was a return !!
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Can't believe it was a return. Maybe a worthy sacrifice to the Pitbull Gods to keep the baritele?

    That's right, this was returned. I can't remember why now. I recall the corners of the scratch plates were chipped a little. DB, was there an issue with the neck?
