Not sure if I am doing this right, I tend to get a bit lost in these forums. Anyway...
Here's my first go at one of these kits. It's a 72 Thinline Deluxe/Jap Super Deluxe mash-up.
Quite fast and "twangy". In addition to the cosmetic mods (and through-body stringing) I also split the humbuckers with a 3-pos toggle. Pretty good result.

This finish reminds me of a re-co I did on a P-bass, we went Gloss clear over under-coats of Satin clear on natural wood.
