What weather? Every time I have been to Melbs it has been raining and damned cold..... Even in summer.....
Does the sun ever come out in Melbs?
No, with the problems with the motor industry, the smelter and such, I think their sun has been switched off to save on electricity?

Only long enough to convince you to leave your wet weather gear at home so that it can dump on you later .

Pest - I'm an Army brat, so Mum & Dad moved around a bit... and I ended up seeing the light and laying down roots in the Wild West. :P

Our last summer/autumn would go against your hypothesis. Was a stinker. My front garden is filled with succulents which are supposedly drought/heat wave proof, and half of them died

it was hard because it was district, so there were like 4 schools there, but I survived!
my time was 15 minutes (+17 seconds :P ) so i was happy with that, my ankles are still killing me!!!!
The other schools are high in sports, so there was little hope for any of us!!
