Well, she's finally finished! Here are some snaps I took to send to Adam for my GOTM entry:

And a couple more for good measure

For those wondering, all the parts on this build were stock Pit Bull, except for the switch ring and the truss rod cover, which I got from Hell Guitars in Japan.

This was my first build, and I was amazed at how easy the process was. I honestly couldn't see myself buying a new guitar now, the satisfaction I got from building this was amazing, and I'll certainly be building more in the future.

Stui, that is *censored* *censored* *censored*!!!
That is a massive contender in GOTM against Gavin's LP and Tele!!!
And I've just realized that there as been a fair amount of censored language on this thread...

    Cheers,
    Callum

That is one stunning SG, Stui. The back of the neck alone is a work of art.

    Scott.

Really superb! Awesome job with the burst! How does it sound? Hopefully as good as it looks because then you have one awesome guitar!

It sounds fantastic Gavin, although I'm going to have to alter the nut, (it's too high), and I'll probably get the neck set up by someone with a bit more experience to get the action as low as possible. Overall I couldn't be happier with the results though

    Nice work Stui.

Go for a bone nut, you will love the tone it gives...

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Beautiful, beautiful job. Well done. Couldn't agree more when you say you wouldn't consider buying another guitar. Building it is so satisfying!

And so my build comes to an end... I gave the guitar to dad this afternoon after deciding it would be best for him to get the guitar set up how he wants it rather than me setting up to my preferences.
The look on his face was priceless when I gave it to him, and now we can't get him to put it down
Now all that's left to do is decide which kit to do next!
