That's why the strings look the same even though the pickup is closer .... because the TV Jones pole distance is just a tiny bit longer...
Took me ages to find out how you knew the pickups were TV Jones....
But that proves my thought of a TV Jones pickup to a fender Bridge.
I've gone over the build diary - a LOT of work..... quite a few things quite outside the "normal"... someone has done this "before"...
The logo - I wonder how that was made?
The logo piece is made from the same clear acrylic used for the pickguard, gold vinyl on back and vinyl lettering on top, generously designed by forum member Sonic Mountain.
I'm into double digits with kit builds and usually try something new on each one.
Definitely NOT TV Jones pickups in mine, as much as I would like them to be.

I thought they were TV Jones from checking the patent number on them.
My bad! I had TV Jones on the brain (maybe because they are made in my home state?). Grant clearly says he used Fender pickups.

Would I be right to say those are actual Gretsch knobs? ;-)
