I got the update/upgrade to Ableton Live 12 Suite when it was officially released, got it installed on bot my computers, so far it has been running with very few issues, they fixed a few things, including the midi piano roll, it no longer seems to be clunky, they also tweaked the user interface too, as well as the browser.
Here's a pic of Ableton Live 12 Suite running on my new Asus TUF Gaming F15 laptop I bought last year from my local Officeworks store:
