Signatures

Trying to follow some help re signatures. Mine show the actual link address rather than eg Build#6 and I can't understand how to get the 'Build#6' into the signature. When I edit it, simply replacing the link address with 'Build#6', of course the link is overwritten. I'm exceeding the 500 chs due to having the links in the signature rather than the abbreviated example so I can't add my sixth build. Is there an easy way to do this? See my examples under Greyfloyd. HELP!!

Thanks Overlord, such a simple explanation. You've no idea how pleased I am to have this solved after 2 years of trying! Onward and upward! Now for Build#7 although technically I already did this as I didn't bother posting my actual 3rd which was a 3/4 Strat and so easy it didn't rate a mention.
