The middle of the body, in line with the bridge, has been sanded through the verneer. The back of the neck was also "flamed" lightly, with a torch. Enough to make a mark, but no burnt crap. Some kind of stain on the body, but I don't know what it is yet. It's very soft. Neck is raw wood. Don't know if it's been stripped or not. Some evidence of previous color on the back of the body too. Gray perhaps.......
