Here is my DSC-1 in Candy Apple Red, I think it came out absolutely fantastic. It looks like something you'd see in a 50's diner with the vibrant red and the cream parts.

This took a lot of time to do and it ended up being painted twice because I wasn't happy with the finish the first time. For those who might not be sure, it's quite an expensive and long process as it involves a primer, silver metallic base, red top coat and then a clearcoat. Inbetween the topcoat and clearcoat I also had to scrape the binding which was scary but it came out pretty good in my opinion

Ignore the uncut strings, I was still in the process of setting the action,intonation, etc when I took this photo.

What do you all think of the finished guitar?

I also just purchased a DTZ-1 kit so i'm looking forward to getting started on that soon
