The first snag: I am not sure which screws to use for the trem. I see 2 possibilities from the included components. 4 screws I labeled Tune-o-matic and 2 screws in the 1/6th section without a tape labe.
1. The 4 screws w/ tune-o-matic. 2 through the bisby into the body top, 2 for the tail side (and use the strap button screw as the 3rd screw on the tail side). I don't think this is it because the shape of the screw heads is flat underneath but the 2 Bigsby holes (screwed into the body top) look like they take a flat or oval-shaped head, not a round head. Besides, the screws are much longer than the thickness of the top.
2. The 2 tiny screws (unlabeled) through the bigsby into the body top. These screws don't seem like they are thick enough, but the head oval shape seems about right. I would have guessed these 2 little screws were for the pick guard (which somehow didn't make it into the box).
Do you all have any suggestions? Should I take a trip to the hardware store?
