Thread: Any ideas on how you might achieve this type of finish?

    Great looking finish. When they do the black and white version they either paint or stain black open pore and when dry use a white grain fill and wipe off with a cloth. So could that be main colour down darker fill possibly?

    The examples you posted there with light grain contrast to the dark fibrous part of the timber (don't know the technical term) is also known as a Ceruse finish. One member here did one like those recently. (I'll try and find it)
