I was about to start a build diary for my 24" scale neck from DMS-1 kit on custom body & found the page for DMS-1 kits has been removed. Hope it is only temporary, anyway ...
A while back I made an ergonomic sitting guitar using a Squier Bullet Mustang as the platform, details here

So that was successful & I'm moving to the next stage of the build. At first this is replacing the neck with a 24" scale neck from DMS-1 kit & other hardware I've gathered. The Squier Bullet Mustang will be reassembled & sold.
I received the neck a few days after Christmas. Found it had glue in the truss rod pocket & inside the head of the truss rod nut. Was able to pick this out & gave a tiny Lanotec spray to free up the thread. Seems okay. The fingerboard had a crack in the grain in frets 19, 20 & 21. Following a Stew Mac video I repaired this with Zap thin CA & some jam (acacia acuminata) dust. Very pleased with the result.
