1st build after a long wait....

Yesterday received my kit, ordered in april. Thank you pandemic for trying my patience.
STEP 1 completed: checking if all parts, nuts and bolts are there and they check out.

eager to start, but will ponder on the finish first

Btw while I was waiting I scratched parts from almost anywhere to test build a partscaster

Nice one. It would be worth shaping the headstock. What did you learn from the partscaster experience that you think you will bring to your build?

Sand, sand, sand....
Measure, doublecheck your measurements and reverify before assembly....
Solder fast and solder hot!

I just wanted to emphasise the importance, in case anyone forgot to mention it, of sanding.
