    DPMs 1st Build

Hello all- I'm new here, and new to building from a kit. I did a dry fit and took this pic. Seems like the fretboard is high, but I don't really know. Is this normal?

    H and welcome.

Yes, perfectly normal for a bolt-on neck guitar. Set-neck guitars have angled necks to give the string height for the bridge (which is normally taller than a bolt-on neck guitar bridge). Bolt-ons normally have a flat neck angle, so the board sits higher to give the string height.
