I recently left a forum because I had a "disagreement" with an "Amateur Luthier" when I posted what I thought to be a helpful post as the fellow had the exact problem that I had in a build which I made a mistake on. Said "Amateur Luthier" promptly informed me that I didn't know what I was talking about and threw a bunch of physics articles at me and in his opinion meant that meant there would be no problem for the poor fellow.

I still have that guitar with the same problem and its on my list of things to fix which is physical proof that his articles were wrong in application.

people disagree on this forum all the time, though they tend to do it in a more diplomatic manner, and both can walk away from it without a massive blue.
The back and forth is often filled with all sorts of information that others can assess and make their own conclusions from as is relevant to their own builds.

Not sure I need to start anymore scratch builds Woltz!
