The push-pull splits the bridge Humbucker. I don’t fully understand all the switching, I know where my favourite sounds on it are, but I think the 5 position switch handles whether the pickups are series or parallel and the three position rotary switch that replaces the tone control does series - parallel for the Humbucker, or something like that.
