    2 Q's: How is it fixed to your bench, and what is that doovalacky on the front of the shelf in pic #3? (it's got a cupboard knob on it)

    It's attached to the shelf with some recessed dry wall screws on the bottom of the shelf. I can attach the shelf to a work bench, or just set it on top of a bench or table. Any drips will fall on the shelf rather than on the table with hand applied finish. Same with the neck jig.
