    Korben’s first build

Korben was excited to start his build of his 5 string Bass today. After spending some time sanding the body he asked for some help with preparing the neck (especially taping it up).
After some practice on some scrap wood he was ready to put on the primer coat, then was asking every 5 minutes is it dry yet.

I spent 13 hours yesterday assembling a trampoline, with my 6 year old asking if I was nearly done every 15 minutes. Good times

Jugglindan my father just laughs at me now & says it’s payback from when I was a kid lol, but I love when the boys (I have 3 under 12) try & help out when you are working on things.

Yeah. For me it's one of those things that can be frustrating and wonderful at the same time. But mostly just wonderful.

I have thought about building one of the ST-1JR 3/4 scale kits with her, but I don't know if I can bring myself to paint a guitar pink and purple and then decorate it with unicorns!
