    The oiling for the win.

    I made a decision to try a burst with Feast Watson Prooftint and to use Fine Buffing Oil...which has become my go to...as the finish.

    Well only one issue...the application with steel wool does draw some of the stain colour out with each application.

    I have done two coats with 00 steel wool and then this morning a third coat at 0000 steel wool.

    I like the finish...but I do think the burst is really subtle now. Mmmmm....I don't know.

    I intend to complete the remaining coats with cloth and just rub the oil on.
