    almost = the fact that the nut slots are not big enough to allow the strings to sit in them. There are slots for each string, but the 3 wound strings do not bottom out on the slot, but rather sit on the two top corners of each slot, if that makes sense.

    The bone nut was a beauty that Adam sent my way that was a touch too wide to fit in the nut slot in the neck. Thanks Adam!
    The customer support offered by PBG is second to none.
    I had to sand the sides of the nut a bit until it just slipped in the neck.
    Then I sanded the back of the nut until I got close.

    As it sits right now, the frets are 0.043" tall, and the bottom of the string slots in the nut are 0.044" to 0.035" above that.
    A cheap set of 'nut files' (welding tip cleaners) should get me home from here.
    They're in the mail now.


    I'm with you McCreed. White pearloid should be spectacular!
    I am warming up to the white the more I look at it.
    It might look weird with anything else after a while.
