    BTW Have you had a look at the neck straightness/fret level yet?
    I tend to do mine whilst the neck is off the body.
    As I remember it was actually the first part of the build that I do.

    I checked the straightness of the neck yesterday actually as my Pit Bull neck straight edge arrived in the post yesterday. My neck looks as straight as, no gaps.
    I’ve not looked at the frets yet, the fret leveller comes in the post on Monday.
    I shall start sanding the body today and tomorrow in prep for the grain filler. While that’s drying I shall then work on the neck to give me something to do.
