On the plus side, I can attest the whenever I take this out I get comments. Tele shaped basses just look super cool and they are pretty rare.
The (literal) down side you can sort of make out in the pic. The strap it's not attached to the upper bout, but rather to a strap extender. Before I added that even with aluminum Schaller tuning machines, and a relatively small headstock there was still some neck dive. Balances nice now that I have the extender on...
