In case anyone was wondering the two tone spray is just acrylic auto rattle can from Supercheap auto. I pretty much freehand sketched the design "roughly" based on a couple of the JH tribute guitars then hand painted it with enamel model paints. then Acrylic clearcoat.

There was no reaction between the enamel model paints and the Acrylic clearcoat. except

Not sure what you mean Waz, do you mean Hendrix's drawings?

I believe yes, in very "relaxed" state they were painted on with nail polish on his strat during the day prior to the 1967 monterey pop festival, and then met its untimely demise by being set fire to by JH.

most people remember that guitar for the flames, not the artwork. Though it might be argued that the act of setting it alight was a piece of performance art in and of itself.
