Daunting you say, DAUNTING??? Last week at my lesson I had a 4 line piece, 4/4 in F, had it down perfectly at home. Muffed a note in the first line so went back to the beginning and then totally mangled it. Ended up so tense I went through the music verbally calling the notes and told the teacher what the rests, repeats, dots etc meant.
