Hi there. My name is alex and i am from Greece. This is my first build ever and its an fs1 kit.
I just cut the headstock in a stat style one and i used a pair of pickups of a gibson les paul special worn finish i had and some old knobs , which i like them but dont fit exactly.
I stained the body with black stain, sand it down, stained it again with blue, sand it again, stained it with a light grey, and then i did i kind of a blue burst staining. I didint mask tge binding cause i thought it could be easy to wipe it off , but unfortunatelly a bit of blue left off on the bining.
I did as i can remember a fourteen coats of oil ( not tru oil because its anavailable in greece) hartol by Clou, and buffed it with bee wax by hand because i didnt want a glossy finish.
With the electronics i had a bad time because i ve only changed i couple of pickups in the past ,and i think next time to be better. Fortunatelly everything works right and i have surprisengly no noise or feedback.

This has come out really nicely. I love the stressed look on the front. Well done!
