Got three pieces of rosewood veneer. Disappointed with the direction of the grain but didn’t want to waste the rosewood. This was my solution and liked the way it mirrored the triangular fret board inlay.

Great pseudo book matching. Either it’s two pieces of the same veneer, or you had two consecutive slices you could use to get that matched so well.
