    After a truly insane year I am finally getting around to finishing this kit off, and should be wiring it up next week.

    One question though - is it possible to polish the control cavity covers? The back of the guitar is now a nice shiny (if not perfect) black, and the matte plastic really stands out.

    Not sure John and would suggest trying some Meguiars polish on an inside bit first just in case it adds swirl scratch marks. Alternatively spraying with several layers of the same clear top coat used and then polished might work.
