Thanks Waz, I feel like I should be further along, but the instructor thinks I'm going ok. One of the other guys has rough shaped his neck and cut the dove tail joint for it, and he is 3/4 the way through his neck carve. Having said that, he's built a lot of cigar box guitars, mandolins, bazookis etc, so he has a feel for it all. The other guy has started working his dove tail joint. Admittedly, I went the harder path with the florentine cutaway and solid wood bindings while they both used plastic bindings.Originally Posted by wazkelly
