I did a Dingotone butterscotch tele a while back. I'll post a photo.

Basically there is no intensifier coat, you just get the white base canister, butterscotch concentrate canister and final coat canister.

Get a plastic lid or (yoghut pot) or something to mix with. pour a little of the white base then add a little of the butterscotch concentrate till you get the right butterscotch colour you want. Then apply to the guitar with a small piece of cotton cloth.

I wait a week for each coat to cure. then repeat the process. The first coat will always look washed out then each coat you apply it will darken up a bit and form a uniform stain. If you apply too much you might get runs on later coats (the first coats get soaked up pretty much) which look a bit funny so try not to do that, or mop off excess so you dont get runs.

I think I went with about 4 coats before moving to the final coats.
