Well, that went better than expected, ignore the top colour, it will be covered by images. Time to attempt to glue on Binding

Only had partial success using acetone on the binding, not sure if it comes down to exact acetone make up or what, but it only had very poor hold in most spots despite two goes round and lots of tape, definitely not like the you tube clip I saw. I ended up using Revelle CA model glue to stick it down, I'll take the tape off to day and see how it went. Just need to finalise the top layer design and then epoxy it on.

Strange, I’ve had no problem using acetone. The only difference I used was dissolving some binding in acetone to use like a thin smear of glue in addition to painting the acetone onto the binding and the wood.

The Revelle glue wasn't much good either, resorted to 406 Loctite which just about stuck my fingers to the guitar, but it worked

Disposable Nitrile Gloves. Far easier to peel off a guitar body than finger skin.

Spent a bit of time down in the lab today, did a restain on the body to lighten it up a bit, also made some fret markers. I hope Igor approves 😁
