Well, what to do on a lazy long weekend when there’s no new guitar to work on? That’ right, dismantle the one I have already done and do some extras. I should have put the shielding in when building, but didn’t, so away we go.
First a quick dismantle and then re route part of the control cavity. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the nut onto the end of the output jack and when I pulled out the plug, well, the output jack came out for a visit. Never mind, after a bit of extra routing, I now have pleanty of room for the nut.

Now to tackle the copper shielding, this is my second PB and I didn’t need shielding in the first build, but having 3 pick ups so close together, and one is a single , well this guitar, had the amp a hummin. Luckily I had the shielding left over from another project.

Just the reconstruction left for next weekend and a polish.
