The 4-wire pickups are configured as:
Black = hot
Red/White = series link between coils (just insulate the bare tip with tape/heatshrink so it can't short)
Green/Bare = ground.
New kit so the ES(x)- diagram should be a good match for it, using the above hot & ground colours.
The L-bracket is to support the pickguard, like on an LP or other styles where it's elevated.
If the yellow wire is core with bare shield/screen, it's most likely for the connection to the output jack or for the long run to/from the switch (new'ish kit, haven't seen it in person).
