Ok I'll pop this here, but I can't claim it. This bass was painted by Jason, the art teacher, and his students at Macklay Vocational College in Kempsey. Adam donated the kit to the school. MVC is a school for disadvantaged youth, mainly aboriginal, on the mid north coast. All I did was the clearcoat and put it together.
Photos were a bit rushed first thing this morning before it put it on the school bus up to Kempsey, finished last night late!
Paint done with artists acrylic in the traditional way, clearcoat Cobots poly gloss front of headstock and body, satin neck. Kit is a JB4-A.
A huge thanks to Adam for his generosity, they have a well appointed music room which is very secure (necessary unfortunately) and the equipment is treated extremely well by the kids. I'm very confident this will have many years of use as well as appearing in some of their art displays which are amazing, as you can imagine!
