Couldn't get the phone camera to capture the correct hue of yellow so fiddled around with the Nikon.

Finally got the headstock re-stained and tru-oiled.


Got to save up for one of those Tonerider bridge pickups.

Hi Waz. No it's about as dark as it's going to get.
I was aiming for a yellow/cream colour...along the lines of a 70's Telecaster.
It's got 2 cans of primer and one can of colour.
Now going to start the clear coat. Maybe 2 cans?

You need to clear over the decals anyway, so you have to add them before the fat lady sings.
