I now have enough logos to do 40 guitars.
Thanks wayne, yes i printed a page in differenr colours then a light spray of clear over the top to seal the inkClick image for larger version.

I know I'm the odd one out for thinking this, but I'm not a fan of spalted timber. To me it just looks like a defective board from a diseased tree. Despite that, I reckon this guitar has tuned out amazing! Fantastic job! Perhaps its because the spalt is so subtle on this particular one, but the awesome finish certainly helps.

Thanks andy, i kind of agree the spalt i think is a fungus in the wood. Some correct me if im wrong. Originally i was going to stain the guitar 1 colour but the top look to good to do it so natural it is

Probably the best attribute of spalted tops is not having to worry about a mismatched flame maple veneer or incorrectly aligning quilted maple, and then also having to contend with the all too common off centre glue joint.

Some spalted tops have been stunning with Zandit's being the most memorable one.

    Cheers, Waz

So tonight ive done the neck flattened and crowned frets and dingo waxed the fret board, the two tone fret board has come up a treat.
Couldnt resist a mock build ive ordered all black hardware exept for the tuners i like the bit of chrome against the black.
I was going to make a trussrod cover but after putting a kit one on it sort of suits it, Click image for larger version.
