    So the Rockwell @ 600W is slower than the 400W Bosch?

    yes mate the Bosch kicks it butt hands down you can buy the Rockwell under heaps of different brands but there the same but there rubbish you can just go get a orange foam and stick it on the Bosch and it rips have been using Bosch gex for 30 years best sander on the market can go super slow to super fast the rockwell takes longer and no where near the finish i can get with a gex and its noisy as biggest piece of junk i ever brought but now i just use the pads on a cordless

    Hi. Thanks for the tip. Only Bosch gear I have is a belt sander and decided that it's definitely too heavy duty for guitars let alone polishing.
    I'll stay away from the Rockwell then and perhaps consider a battery powered drill. Could come in handy for other jobs as well.
