Looking great so far, thanks for sharing. Just got my first set neck kit today. An RCM 12, always wanted an electric 12. What do you plan to use for glue?

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.

I ordered some "Tightbond" from PBG when I ordered the kit. Seemed to work really well. I had a fairly loose neck fit so I did end up filling the bottom of the neck pickup cavity with some epoxy as extra insurance.

    Cheers guys.

Some more incremental progress. Been a bit busy the last few days with real life. Finally got a sealing coat and waterslide on my TRC. Took ages to get a result I was happy with. I ended up having to remove some of the shine as the paint wouldn't stick and kept flaking off. I also switched to Rustoleum clear, which seems to work better on the aluminium. It matches up nicely with the alumitones being somewhere between the dark aluminium and the other chrome bits.

Got a tiny bit of dust under the clear on the edge, but I think I'll be able to polish it out when its dry.

Hopefully onto wiring before too long.

Just to give you an idea- I definitely don't always get it right first go
