    I will check the colour when it is dry luckily the dark wood will be under the black feathered edge.

    the back is the same colour as the front It also looks more orange than in the image I applied another coat of stain to get the rich grain effect. I will see if it is dry enough to coat in the morning, It will be good if I can spray it before I go on leave for a week or so.
