3 Days to go and..... Hands to Panic Stations..... the nut had a crack in it in the middle of the G String. It let go last night, and the bone replacement was too wide..... I spent most of last night and this morning knocking one up out of a piece of Brass..... Old nut had lots of glue and didn come out without a fight.
Cosmetic repairs to follow, but at least we are operational.....
