Yeah it was a holiday Woks, we flew into London and had a few days there, then off to Bruges, back to London -> Windemere -> Plymouth / Cornwall -> Skiathos -> Skopelous -> Venice -> Monte Carlo -> Arles -> Dijon ( river cruise up the Rhone ) -> TGV to Paris ( hit 297 kph ) -> home. ( 5 weeks in total )

Nearest I got to a music store was the Hardrock Cafe in Paris but we did have the Gypsy Kings entertain us one night on the cruise, they are incredible

Still heaps of work to do, fettle the pickguard, set the nut, level the frets and then of course final assembly

Neck bolted on, tuners fitted and kit strings on.

The bone nut needs somewhere between 0.5 & 1mm taken off it to bring the strings down to an acceptable level, I knew this would be the case which is why the cheapies are on it at the moment.

Tomorrow I'll measure the string height on the CV Squier which has a wonderful action with feeler gauges and bring this one down to that level, then I'll have a look at the rest of the neck & bridge setup

Just stuck the feeler gauges under the strings and the nut has to come down by 1.2mm which is a hell of a lot of bone sanding
