Hopefully the video works, let me know if you have any issues. You can hear the click track in the background which was a very different experience.
We laid down a scratch track with both guitar and vocals, where the guitar was the most important bit, then we'd create a clean vocal track over the top of that. Whiskey Lullaby was the longest take, with quite a few re-takes and additional tracks if harmonies. Wearing headphones and singing is weird, and for a couple of re-takes, I had to slip one side off to get the pitch right.
Debbie had been asking me all day what John Denver songs I sang, and for some reason thought I sang "Be back home again", but it's never been a part of my song list. In the end, we scrapped "Seven Spanish Angels, and added "Country Roads"!!
Considering I hadn't dusted that song off for quite some time, I was having trouble remembering he chords, especially through the bridge, so Mick stepped in and nailed it for me.
So looking forward to see how this comes across. I will update as I hear more.
