It's a new unit so wear shouldn't be an issue, but just to be sure it doesn't hang up at all I've put a small amount of MDS grease at the pivot point to help the bridge bounce back. There's only three springs (which was what came with the kit), but the adjustment is within about 5mm of being all the way in. There's enough tension on the springs for the bridge to be parallel, but maybe an additional spring will spread the tension more evenly. I've sourced some additional springs on the internet, so when they arrive I'll try adding a fourth one and hopefully that cures it.

Contrary to what some owners of Floyd Rose Trems may lead you to believe, the Floyd Rose system is not 100% stable in terms of staying in tune, about 80% tends to be the norm, with some exceptional ones being up to 90%.
