Water decals are easy. Check out my TL1-Q. I used transparent paper so had to paint the headstock white to bring out the colours. My bad. You could try a white background paper, print the outline, spray with clear coat, cut with a razor blade/knife, the apply.

But test,test,test first!!

Though a specialist company/individual will probably be able to print solid white or metallic colours which don't need a light background to work.

Q. How did you asses the action before glueing in the neck? With a straight edge?

Thanks olisam, yes mate just used a straight edge sat it on the nut to the bridge

so ive butchered wiring, everything is dead no noise at all not even static, not sure what I've done wrong but think ill have to start again and go back to nor mal wires and not the braid

I only see one terminal wired on the input jack?

No there's 2 ive used normal wire for ground , just worked out that i havent grounded all the shield wire on the hot wires

So much swearing today its not funny. Had everything working and it sounded so good, then put it all onto the f holes and nothing, 3 times this happened spent all arvo on it in the end i gave up got way to cranky to get it done

Finally got it working, those f holes are dam small. Put some bronze stings on, its got a beautifull warm clean sound, too late to crank up the distortion I'll give that a try through the week.
Only thing left is to do a decal ive got some paper coming this week
