    With the ground switching variation you should be able to set it up so the tone control has two cap options or is disconnected completely. That still wouldn't give you a blower, but at the very least the 'pure' volume only sound that some people like.

    You could also try setting up the switch to do a output short on the volume and then a ground lift. 1st pos would give normal volume control, middle pos would short the volume input to output (some increase in vol depending on it's current setting), and then 3rd pos would short the in-out and drop the ground link which should give max volume regardless of setting (alcohol induced spitballing, so don't take it as gospel).
