Greetings from Canada. JM-1L First build.

    Hi everyone,

I've just purchased my first kit, a JM-1L. I'm sure I'll be checking my mailbox daily for the package as I'm really looking forward to this.

My plan for this build is seafoam green body and headstock with the tortoise shell pickguard. Should be a sweet look!

I'm sure this will be interesting journey.

Cheers to everyone in the forum.

Welcome aboard! While seafoam green can be a polarising colour on this forum I am definitely a fan! Look forward to seeing the build progress - make sure you start a build diary when it arrives.

    Welcome aboard jlassu!

Lovely offset goodness! I look forward to seeing how this comes up, despite the colour choice. (Yes, I am firmly on the other side of the line to Chuck when it comes to SFG).
At the end of the day it's about building what you want and like, whatever questions you have pop 'em up and there'll be a torrent of helpful replies, mixed with thread jacking and bad jokes. Enjoy your build!

Thanks. I'm sure finding a good lacquer in that colour will be a challenge.

Welcome to the forum and build plans sound great. Start a build diary and ask any questions there. Don't rush the build and you will end up with a great axe ! Best of luck
