Well the new keyboard had arrived in the post today so I went to the Winnellie Post office to pic it up, not long after i got back home I tried the new keyboard on the laptop to see if it would fit, since it was a test fit I didn't actually fully install it, anyway, it turned out to be practically a drop-in replacement for the original one, thank goodness, so I went ahead and installed the new keyboard after removing the original one, I'm typing this post on the laptop with it's new keyboard installed so you can see it is working perfectly.
