    Thanks you guys.

I have to say I’m really happy with how the gloss has turned out.
Luckily I’ve been able to use professional painting equipment.

    Very happy with the result.

Finished polishing the headstock. First a previous picture during sanding & polishing.

And the finished headstock, with the tuners/machineheads quickly installed for a complete picture.

If you can, toss the truss-rod cover and get something with some sexy curves. Those straight edge rhomboid things just don't suit LPs. It doesn't have to be a traditional Gibson "bell" shaped one, just something without the straight lines.

Standard TRC must go, I whole heartedly agree. It's a good place for a subtle custom, personalised touch.

Nice headstock but I agree with the others; get a nice looking TRC instead of the stock one...

Thank you guys!! I appreciate the feedback!

I had the same thoughts about the trussrod cover, that's why it's not bolted on yet. I'm thinking of shaping it to my liking or else banning it to the garbage-bin.

Anyone an idea where to find some nice ones online, or should I visit the local guitarstore?
