Pabs put me onto this place that has industrial machines you hire for time. They teach you how to do it too.
I used their machine to plane and thickness the blanks, (yep Wokks 42mm). I was also taught how to do it too without losing a hand.![]()

Wow - that is so cool. I'll have to find out if there's one near me!! And looking forward to the build - I'm guessing the "semi" part means you'll grab a neck rather than make one? Certainly makes it a lot simpler in my mind. I've built a couple of necks but never enjoyed the process the same way I enjoy the rest of the build.
