Been having a real battle with the neck on this one, aside from changing my mind constantly on the headstock decals, the neck had a considerable belly bow and the truss rod appeared to be seized. I tried squirting RP7 down there to no avail, today I finally tried some silicone spray and was rewarded with a tiny bit of movement and a "creak". Gave it another squirt and left it over night with a 10kg anvil
balanced in the middle while the neck is supported on the ends. I call this the Will E Coyote method.

Is it an Acme branded anvil, just like Wile Coyote's?

Sometimes you have to loosen off the truss rod and then apply some tension in the opposite direction of the bow and then gradually tighten it back up again whilst under external load. Have had to do this on a few Bass necks to help lower the action.
