Sounds nice Doc, very nice cleans indeed. I think your cat fell asleep reading through your thread... (joke, it's long, not boring)

Hahahaha....I think the cat fell asleep because it was getting tired of all the silly mistakes I was making while building the guitar, the cat thinks it knows everything, that's why it tries to be the centre of attention, and if it doesn't get any attention it simply decides to fall asleep on my workbench.....lol.

Guitar sounds nice, Doc. Looking good too.

You going to order any gold screws for the scratchplate and pickup fittings so that as much of the hardware is gold as possible?

By the way, we've interviewed the cat and there will be a two-page spread appearing shortly on all your undocumented building mistakes.

Yep, and I've already done so, I ordered about 30 new Gold Fender scratchplate screws from Stewmac, would have ordered them from Realtone Music but they didn't have any in stock, I'm going to be ordering the new Gold SuperVee Bladerunner bridge in about a couple more fortnight's time, in the meantime the hardware I've fitted to the guitar will do so I can play it while waiting for the new bits to arrive, I've ordered some new parts for the LP Studio from Stewmac and I bought a set of Kluson-style locking tuners for it on the Stratosphere website, they should be turning up in the post soon.

Hahahaha....I'm sooooo going to be embarassed when all the guitar-building skeletons are brought out from the closet,...oh the humanity....lol....just kidding.

*Thinks...."That's the last time I get one of my feline guitar-building advisors to write a 100-page critique on my guitar building techniques, it was unfairly biased".*

Today's agenda is going to be very simple, drink some coffee to wake myself up and maybe have something to eat too, that might be a little too simple for me though....haha.

I like how it sounds dirty. Can easily pump out some numbers sounding like that... Clean is sweet too.

Cheers, I have to say that I'm liking the clean tones a lot as well as the dirty tones too, these Dual Blade humbucker pickups are quite versatile, I feel like I made the right choice in going with them.
